Bonnie Bullock received a bachelor's in History from Tulane University with an additional major in Cell and Molecular Biology in 2012. She is currently a 5th year PhD student in the Cancer Biology program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Bonnie studies the tumor microenvironment of non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLC), or the complex interactions between cancer cells and the immune system. Her thesis work focuses on defining and improving determinants of response to immunotherapy in a mouse model of human NSCLC. Bonnie is interested in a future career where she can synthesize her love of science and writing. She plans on pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship after graduation.
