Client needs vary, but the rehab process will follow the same structure for most clients at The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health – Outpatient. 1. Intake AssessmentEach new client must go through a thorough intake process in which they receive an assessment of their physical and mental health. The results of this evaluation are used to design each client’s personalized treatment plan. 2. Determining the Appropriate Level of CareAfter the intake assessment, the appropriate level of care for each client will be determined. This step is important because outpatient care isn’t the best fit for everyone, especially for clients who have never been to rehab before. Depending on the client’s needs, they may start with medical detox instead and transition to outpatient care gradually. 3. Outpatient TreatmentIf outpatient care is determined to be the best fit for a client, they can enroll in treatment at our outpatient facility. Outpatient care involves daytime medical support and counseling, and clients return home or to a sober living house at the end of the treatment day. 4. AftercareBefore leaving our care, each client receives a detailed aftercare plan that outlines follow-up appointments and supportive resources in their community.
